Bharat Jan Gyan Vigyan Jatha (BJGVJ) celebrated Van Mahautsav at Sikh Missionary Public School, Salem Tabri, Ludhiana in association with Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Chandigarh, on Thursday.
Addressing the teachers and students, jatha president Sher Singh Aulukh made them aware about the cleanliness of environment. He emphasised on maximum plantation for healthy environment.
Organising secretary MS Bhatia advised the students to save environment by planting maximum trees. School director Ranjit Singh related the environment with gurbani and emphasised on saving the environment.
Eco-club in-charge Sukhdev stressed on green environment. School principal Pradeep Kaur thanked all members of the jatha and read the message of Harbhajan Singh, chairman of the school. During the closing of the function, students, teachers and members of the jatha planted trees.
