VB for criminal cases againstthree gazetted officers, 18 others

Haryana vigilance bureau has recommended registration of criminal cases against three gazetted officers, as many non-gazetted officers and 15 others as they have been found guilty in the investigations conducted by it recently.

Haryana vigilance bureau has recommended registration of criminal cases against three gazetted officers, as many non-gazetted officers and 15 others as they have been found guilty in the investigations conducted by it recently.

A spokesperson said that the bureau had also recommended departmental action against eight gazetted officers, as many non-gazetted officers and three others as they were also found guilty in investigations conducted by the bureau.

Meanwhile, 12 officials were also caught red-handed while accepting bribe of amount ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 80,000 and criminal cases were registered against them.

He said that the erring officials were Bodh Raj, patwari, Halqa Myod, Fatehabad; sub inspector Satish Kumar and assistant sub inspector Roshan Lal, police department; Bal Krishan, incharge, tax branch, municipal corporation, Ambala city, local bodies department; Naresh Kumar, junior engineer (JE), electricity department, Bahadurgarh; Ram Singla, JE, HUDA, Panipat; Ramesh Kumar, JE, irrigation department, Hansi, Hisar district; Dr Sanjeev Kumar Deswal, medical officer, community health centre, Julana, Jind district; Amit Kumar, mandi supervisor, market committee, Raipur Rani, Panchkula district; Rajinder Singh, assistant secretary, market committee, Adampur, Hisar district; Amit Kumar, computer data operator, Nagar Parishad, Kaithal and head constable Mohd Hussain, Rajka Meo police station, Mewat district.
