Venture Energy and Technology was just a front company to launder the state's first family's black money, Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur has alleged.
Urging the Himachal Pradesh government to constitute an inquiry committee to trace out the links, the national president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Anurag, on Saturday asked chief minister Virbhadra Singh to resign from the office on moral grounds.
He sought to know from Virbhadra that how many shares he had purchased and for how much money.
Anurag, alleged that Vakamulla Chandrashekhar had loaned Rs 3. 83 crore to a firm owned by Virbhadra's son and daughter at a farm house, adding the market value of the farm property was estimated to be between Rs 150 and Rs 200 crore. He told Virbhadra to declare the value of the farm.
He also sought to know about the vehicles owned by the chief minister and his family.
Continuing his tirade against Virbhadra, Anurag asked him to hand over the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chargesheet to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a probe.
Attacking Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for hiring a PR firm, he said even `500 crore investment to shine his image would not help him win public support.
Commenting on the success of the Aam Admi Party in the Delhi assembly elections, Anurag said the party had no future, as did not have foreign as well as national policy to run the country.
