Two men suffered injuries after a truck toppled off a flyover on the Jalandhar-Amritsar highway on Friday. The injured include truck driver Narayan Singh of Baba Bakala, and an auto-rickshaw driver Manpreet Singh of New Hargobind Nagar of Jalandhar. They are admitted to the local civil hospital and were reported to be out of danger.
The driver said he lost control after it developed a technical glitch, and it skidded off the flyover. Manpreet was driving an auto on which the truck fell, but he miraculously escaped getting trapped under the truck. It was all caught in a security camera installed nearby.

The truck had been unloaded of cement bags near Focal Point just before the mishap and was going to Anandpur Sahib.
Cops rushed to the spot and cleared the resultant traffic jam. Station house officer inspector Nirmal Singh said no case was registered as there was a compromise struck between the truck driver and the auto driver.
