'WINTER FETE' held at DBU"

The first 'Winter Fete' at Desh Bhagat university (DBU) not only provided ample entertainment but also presented a rich Punjabi culture and heritage vividly.

University chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and pro chancellor Tejinder Kaur inaugurated the event and said that such events are a source of knowledge as well as recreation.

They provide the youth a direction to prove his skills, gets practical exposure and learn about our rich heritage and culture. They declared to make this event a regular feature.

Public responded well to the exhibition cum sale stalls of different products like woolen garments, phulkari, aromatic candles etc.

A special bakery stall had laid out different food items like Cakes, Pastries, Patties and Biscuits, South Indian dishes like Dosa, Idli, Sambar, Pickles and Chutneys etc. Visitors also enjoyed Horse riding, Camel riding, Merry-go rounds and Fun games.
