To get rid of her nephew, who opposed his aunt's illicit relation, a resident of Amritsar has allegedly killed him with the help of her paramour near Kala Afghana village on Saturday night.

In his complaint to Fatehgarh Churrian police, deceased's brother Ashwani Kumar told that last evening he and his brother Honey, aunt Kavita and brother-in-law Sumeet were going to Dhianpur to pay obeisance at Baba Lal Dayal Mandir, on two motorcycles. Ashwani was sitting with Sumeet while Honey was driving the other motorcycle with Kavita sitting behind.

When they reached near Kala Afghana, they noticed that Honey and Kavita were left behind. They waited for them for half an hour but when honey did not turn up, they came back and found him lying on the roadside with bullet injuries on his body, while Kavita was missing from the spot.

"We rushed Honey to Fatehgarh Churrian Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead,"said Ashwani.

He added that after the death of his uncle Kulwant Singh, aunt Kavita got a job in Amritsar Corporation on compassionate ground.

"Eventually, she developed an illicit relation with Vicky Sharma, a resident of Amritsar. When Honey came to know about Kavita's relation, he objected,"said Ashwani.

To get rid of his nephew, Kavita along with Vicky and two unidentified persons made a plan to kill Honey. Kavita asked Honey to accompany her to Dhianpur. On the way, she asked Honey to drive the motorcycle slowly and called up Vicky and two other persons, who allegedly shot Honey.

On the statement of Ashwani, police had registered a case under Section 302, 34 of the IPC against Kavita, Vicky and two unidentified persons, who are still at large.
