Women appeals for financial aid for son's treatment

A women appealed for financial aid for the treatment of her one-month-old son who is admitted in the paediatric surgical ICU at Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), Ludhiana.

The baby was operated for a complex, correctable defect in the food pipe and is making reasonable recovery from the same. Baby's father is a daily wager and sole bread earner of the family with two daughters.

Geeta, mother of baby, said, “We cannot afford the treatment. The doctors say that the condition of my son is improving now. I appeal the public for donation for the treatment of my son.”

The doctors said, “The overall expense of the treatment is Rs 2 lakh.”

Donations can be sent by cheques or bank drafts to the Christian Medical College Ludhiana society, payable at Ludhiana and also mention “For Baby of Geeta” at the backside of the cheque and draft.
