Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, on Tuesday, said the state will not spare even a drop of water, whatever the judgment of the court regarding the SYL issue may be.

Badal further demanded justice for the state on various matters such as the issue of state capital, Punjabi-speaking areas and Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal (SYL).

Referring to BJP national president Amit Shah and Union finance minister Arun Jaitley, Badal said Punjab did not want any compensation but only “ insaaf” (justice).

Badal, who was addressing a gathering to celebrate 50th anniversary of the Punjabi Suba, said Punjabis had always been ready to sacrifice for the country. But, in return, had faced only but discrimination.
