A group of Congress workers on Sunday criticised district chief of Congress Gurpreet Gogi stating that expulsion of some of the party leaders recently was unfortunate.

Those present in the meeting included Balwinder Singh Bedi, Onkar Chand Sharma, Narenderpal Singh, Paramjit Singh, Bahadur Singh and Gyan Chand.

The workers also stated that they have always stood with the party while during campaigning elections and other purposes.

Bedi said in the recent past some of the senior leaders were expelled from the party without any strong reason, which had not only given a wrong message to the workers and but also made a negative impact on them.
