2.o first look: Rajinikanth meets his nemesis in a ghastly Akshay Kumar

The first look of Tamil actioner 2.o, directed by Shankar and starring Rajinikanth in the lead, was released on Sunday. The poster has a menacing Akshay Kumar glaring at the viewer. Needless to say, it looks rather scary.

Akshay, as the antagonist Dr Richard in the film, seems to have done some experiment on himself and the after effects are bone-chilling. With his blazing eyes, long hairy eye lashes and overgrown finger nails, Akshay is ghastly to look at. The overwhelming grey-blue background gives the poster a rather ominous feel to it. Akshay shared the poster on Twitter and wrote: Evil has a new face.

A teaser poster of the film was released on November 16, 2016.

2.o is the sequel to Rajinikanth’s highly successful 2010 film Enthiran (Robot in Hindi) and also stars Amy Jackson. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had starred opposite him in the first installment.
