Aishwarya Dutt came into limelight with her praise-worthy performance in Tamil thriller Paayum Puli, and now she is working in a female-centred film titled Maraindhirundhu Paarkum Marmamenna.
"She's already joined the sets. The shoot is currently going in and around places such as Ennore and Vysarpadi. She plays a girl from North Chennai in the film. It's a female-oriented subject and Aishwarya has a strong role to portray," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
The film marks the debut production venture of popular Tamil cinematographer P.G. Muthiah.
Debutant Rakesh, a former associate of filmmaker M. Raja, is directing the film.
Dhruva, who was last seen in Tamil actioner Thilagar, plays the male lead in the film.
