Baahubali completes 50 days: No big deal, says SS Rajamouli

SS Rajamouli's Baahubali has marched into the record books collecting Rs 590 crores in worldwide collections, becoming the third highest grossing Indian film ever. The film completes 50 days since its release on Friday. While many people would take that as reason to celebrate, the director himself doesn't think too much of it.

In a series of tweets on Friday, Rajamouli wrote that records such as these (50 days) hold no meaning today as films release in thousands of screens worldwide and the game is over in the first 3-4 weeks. He added that such issues were things of the past and that we ought to move on. Endorsing the view was filmmaker Ramgopal Varma.
