Baahubali’s Anushka Shetty exits Prabhas starrer Saaho citing date issues
Prabhas won’t romance Anushka Shetty in Saaho. Baahubali’s Devasena is already busy with a big budget Tamil film. Pooja Hegde might step in.
When rumours spread that Prabhas and Anushka might team up for the fifth time in Saaho, fans instantly plunged into celebratory mood. When things finally fell in place and the project started rolling, reports have come in that Anushka has opted out of the project citing date clash with her upcoming Tamil project. She has reportedly signed a big Tamil film even before she accepted Saaho, and she was obliged to complete the former at any cost.
It is rumoured that Pooja Hegde has been signed as her replacement and is expected to join the sets soon. Prabhas, on the other hand, will join the sets later this month. The makers are currently filming some important action sequences. Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the main antagonist and he had said in a recent interview that Saaho will be biggest action film of 2018. “This is a larger-than-life film and, post Baahubali, the entire nation is rooting for Prabhas. And where there is a mega hero, there will always be a mega villain too. My character has many shades like every other character in the film. It’s quite an exciting project, Sujeeth has a great vision. Saaho will be the biggest action film of 2018.”
After playing father and son in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali franchise, in Saaho, audiences will see Prabhas in a never seen before avatar. The film will be a fast-paced, high-tech action extravaganza made on a huge scale, with a healthy dose of romance handfuls and edge-of-the-seat thrills. Being directed by Sujeeth, the film will be shot across exotic locations across the world. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio have been roped in to compose the music. While Ghazi fame Madhie will crank the camera, production designer Sabu Cyril will take care of set work.
