A leading studio wants to co-produce Saaho, provided it gets the Hindi rights. The studio also wants Prabhas to speak in Hindi.

If the grapevine is anything to go by, the makers of Prabhas starrer Saaho are leaving no stone unturned. Following the phenomenal success of Baahubali 2, it is believed a leading studio has come forward to co-produce Saaho, provided they get the Hindi rights. They don’t want the film to be dubbed in Hindi, but instead at least make important characters from the film including Prabhas dub in their own voice. Therefore, Prabhas has apparently started taking Hindi lessons from a special tutor in preparation for his role.

Saaho will be directed by Sujeeth.

After playing father and son in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, In Saaho, however, it will be a different Prabhas in a different role, a very different setting, put together with a very different recipe: think very fast-paced and high-tech action on a huge scale, with a healthy dose of romance with handfuls of thrills and pinches of drama. Saaho will be a new, exciting and saucy mix, but put together very tastefully and served with style. As interesting as the title and lead actor is the rest of the intriguing cast, with some big names from all over Indian filmdom. The movie will be directed by Sujeeth and will be filmed at striking locations in, around and outside the country. Music by the awesome trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics by the very talented Amitabh Bhattacharya, are sure to jazz up playlists. While Ghazi fame Madhie will crank the camera, production designer Sabu Cyril will take care of set work.

The principal shooting will commence from the first or second week of June, as soon as Prabhas returns from his long and much deserved US holiday. Tipped to be made on a budget of Rs 150 crore, the film is slated to hit the screens next summer.
