Internet has been abuzz with reports that Malayalam actor Prayaga Martin allegedly slapped a makeup man on the sets of her new film Viswasapoorvam Manzoor. It was also rumoured that she forced him to apologise to her. However, when we did some digging, we found out a very different version of the story in which Prayaga was the victim.

Quashing the Facebook post shared by the film’s art director, she said that it was the makeup man who provoked her with derogatory comments. When she pointed a finger at him and asked if this is how he would talk to a woman, she alleged that he held her hand and pushed her away. Nevertheless, she continued shooting. Later, her parents insisted that she complain about the makeup man’s attitude to her director and she obliged. Following the complaint, he was asked to apologise.

Having rose to fame with her debut Tamil film Pisaasu, the young actor went on star in Malayalam films such as Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaaya, Pa Va, Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan and Fukri.
