The ‘anna’ of all superstars is back! The first poster of Rajinikanth starrer Lingaa is out and so is the verdict. The ageing star has lost none of his chutzpah despite the lukewarm response his last release and much hyped Kochadaiyaan created.

Lingaa shows a daredevil, quite literally kicking up a storm. In torn jeans, open jacket, dark glasses, Rajinikanth in and as Lingaa looks cut out for a role tailormade for his superstar status.

The poster, done up in tones of brown, perfectly highlights the element of brawn and bravado a Rajini entertainer is all about.

The distant temple makes it appear that the story is set in an unknown Indian hinterland. The poster mentions that music is by the redoubtable AR Rahman.

Lingaa incidentally will also mark the Tamil debut of reigning Bollywood diva Sonakshi Sinha.

Watch out for more trivia on Lingaa from now on.
