Happy birthday Prabhas: Tamannaah Bhatia says he is unassuming about his huge fan following
On Prabhas’ birthday today, actor and good friend Tamannaah Bhatia says that it’s Prabhas’ down-to-earth and cordial nature that separates him from the rest.
Telugu star Prabhas aka Baahubali turns a year older today. And talking about him, his co-star and friend Tamannaah Bhatia says it is a rarity to fine such a down-to-earth individual like him. Tamannah also adds that his soft spoken and cordial nature easily draws respect from those who come in contact with him.
“Having worked with him for the first time in Rebel (2012) and then for Baahubali [series] I got to know him better. In fact he is one of the closest friends I have in the [south Indian film] industry. I can vouch for him anytime I need his help,” says Tamannaah, who has also done Hindi films such as Himmatwala (2013) and Humshakals (2014).
Tamannaah, who plans to dial Prabhas to wish him on his birthday today as he turns 38, also praises his unassuming nature. “He has a huge fan following and Baahubali has obviously increased all the more. Girls go crazy about him. Yet, Prabhas is absolutely unassuming about how much people love him, how his fans go crazy about him. He is extremely simple as a person,” she adds.
Interestingly, Tamannaah also shares that her family and many of her friends in Mumbai are also fans of Prabhas and they have been coaxing her for long to set a meeting with him. “Every time I am in Mumbai, my family and friends would ask me about him. They have been pushing me for long that I should make them met him. I told Prabhas about it and even shared few videos made by my friends for him. He was sweet and gracious to watch them and also conveyed his thanks. I think it’s time I bring him to Mumbai or else I might not get entry to Mumbai soon,” Tamannaah adds with a laugh.
