If you were in awe of Prabhas’s Greek God physique in Baahubali, expect him to sport a much leaner look in his next film with director Sujeeth. Although it is rumoured that Prabhas will play a cop in his next Telugu outing, it hasn’t been confirmed by reliable sources yet. However, what we do know for certain is that the actor will shed some weight, especially all the muscle he beefed up for Baahubali, and will sport a leaner frame for the new movie. He will also reportedly sport a crew cut for his role.

A source close to Prabhas informs HT: “Now that he’s completely relieved of Baahubali, he will focus on losing at least 15-20 kg to leaner and younger. For his new movie, the role doesn’t require him to look muscular but leaner and fitter. With Sujeeth’s project slated to go on the floors from the last week of April, Prabhas has already started working out to shed extra weight.”

It is rumoured that Prabhas will play a cop in his next Telugu outing.

To be made as a trilingual on a lavish budget of Rs 150 crore, the film is tipped to be a road thriller and a lot of the story unfolds on the move. The makers are spending a whopping Rs 35 crore for a particular action sequence under the supervision of international stuntman Kenny Bates. Baahubali fame Sabu Cyril is handling the production design while Madhie, who wowed audiences with his work in Ghazi, will crank the camera. The team of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has been roped in to compose the music.
