Vikram Vedha, the R Madhavan-Vijay Sethupathi film that hit the screens on July 21, has been appreciated by critics and fans alike. Now, none other than superstar Rajinikanth himself has lavished praise on the film.

Rajinikanth, who watched the film at a special screening, called it a ‘mass film made with so much class’, reports India Today.

A host of Kollywood stars, including Suriya, Arya and Karthik Subburaj, have been tweeting about the film since its release.

Directed by Pushkar-Gayathri, Vikram Vedha is a crime thriller also featuring Shraddha Srinath, Kathir, John Vijay and Varu Sarath.

Written and directed by Pushkar & Gayatri, Vikram Vedha is reportedly based on the mythological tale, Vikramaditya. Before its release, the lean look of Madhavan had been the talk of the town, particularly since he had really bulked up for Irudhi Suttru.
