Ram Charan, son of south star Chiranjeevi, has organised an elaborate bash on the occasion of his father's 60th birthday, on Saturday (August 22) in Hyderabad. While the event is expected to be attended by several celebrities from different film industries in the south, the who's who of Bollywood are also apparently set to make their presence felt at the party.
An insider reveals, "The bash has been organised at a five-star hotel in Hyderabad. The event was planned as Chiranjeevi turns 60, and also completes 35 years in the Indian film industry. Some celebrities who are likely to attend the party include Amitabh Bachchan, along with his family, Salman Khan with a few members of his family, Kajal Agarwal and Rana Daggubatti, among others."
For the occasion, ace designer Tarun Tahiliani was approached to create an outfit for the senior actor. The insider adds, "Tarun has designed a blue silk bandhgala, teamed with a silk kurta and churidaar for Chiranjeevi. He is close to the family, and even designed the wedding trousseau for Ram Charan and his wife, Upasna."

When contacted, Ram Charan confirmed the news, saying, "I planned this bash two weeks ago. Thanks to our friends and family in Mumbai and Hyderabad, I think I will be able to pull off such an extravagant event. We've never celebrated my father's achievements. I'm happy that this opportunity has come by. We have invited several Bollywood actors, and many stars from the south Indian film industries. All our near and dear ones are attending it."
