Rubbishing reports of Shah Rukh Khan having a cameo appearance in Baahubali: The Conclusion, actor Rana Dagubatti has said the superstar is not part of the movie.
“He is not part of the film. There is no cameo appearance. The world of Baahubali is different and it doesn’t have it (cameo appearances),” said Rana.
Gossip mills are abuzz that SRK has been roped in for a special appearance in Baahubali: The Conclusion where he would be essaying the character of a mediator between protagonist Prabhas and villain Rana.
Reportedly, the makers had even approached South actors like Suriya and Mohanlal for a cameo in the Telugu film.
“They are no cameo appearances of these south actors also in the film,” Rana maintained.
SRK’s close friend Karan Johar is a presenter of the second part as well.
Director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion is the sequel to his 2015 epic historical war-drama, which is set for April 28 release.
Speaking at length about the film, Rana added that Baahubali 2 is a stronger and mightier sequel to the 2015 blockbuster.
Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) not only took the box office by storm but also struck a chord with a audience even as it kept them guessing on ‘Why Kattapa killed Bahubali’ in part one.
“Baahubali 2 is bigger, better, stronger and mightier. I have come to know SS Rajamouli (director) for four years now as part of this four-year journey of Baahubali--1 and 2. It is constant learning with him and he provides with right strength and family atmosphere,” said Rana.
“During the making of the movie we realised that we were probably making the largest film in this part of the world. Hence, everyone put his or her best efforts.”
Baahubali: The Conclusion also stars Prabhas, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty.
The Telugu star will be part of Where The Heart Is, web series by Asian Paints, to bring out celeb homes stories.
