The teaser of Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited film, Srimanthudu is out, and it takes the hype around the film to an altogether different level.
Watch the trailer here:
True to the film's title, which loosely translates to 'a rich man', the one-minute-long teaser opens with a man with his back to the camera looking into the expanse of a metropolis. We are introduced to the hero, Mahesh Babu busy in a meeting in a plush conference room. Big cars at the entrance of a fancy lobby, huge steel and glass interiors of an office gives us an idea of the hero's stature. Next, we find him in a pensive, reflective mood at his lavish home. It’s obvious that there is an inner calling somewhere.
In another frame, we see Mahesh cycling down a slope in a barren landscape with a lone temple for company. The teaser builds the drama when we are shown him talking to a man with his back is to the camera. It isn’t exactly a gentle talk: Mahesh’s tone borders on a warning. The following shots have Mahesh bashing up baddies. And in the next frame we again see Mahesh cycling: Just that this time he's in a forest, absorbing the sights and sounds around him.
Clearly, Mahesh is on a mission to reclaim something.
