Young actor Thulasi Nair says she still takes her mother's advice while choosing scripts as she feels she's not yet confident to take such big decisions herself. Nair is the daughter of yesteryear southern actor Radha.
The 17-year-old, who made her cinematic debut with Mani Ratnam's Tamil romantic-drama Kadal, was last seen in romantic-thriller Yaan.
"I still listen to scripts or meet a director with mom. I still feel I need advice on choosing scripts because I don't think I'm mature enough to take such big decisions. We hear it together and then we discuss it. She hears me out and vice versa," said Thulasi.
For any professional advice, Thulasi reaches out to her mother and aunt, popular southern actor Ambika.
Thulasi spent nearly two years on Yaan, which was her recent release in Tamil.
"As an actor, I feel Yaan made me very independent and gave me an opportunity to establish myself professionally," she said.
She is currently waiting for a script that will challenge her as an actor.
