There's more to superstar Rajinikanth than the gravity-defying stunts he pulls off in his films. He's a man with a golden heart too.
Rajini gave a peep into his generous side while short-listing two foreign models for his next film, a magnum opus set in pre-Independent India. Only one of the two, Falk Columbo or Eduardo Santos, were to be offered a role after the final audition. However, when the actor met both the models later, he asked the director to accommodate even Eduardo, the losing finalist, in the film. Both the models were selected from Mumbai and were asked to fly down to Chennai for the audition.
"The auditions were done by the director, and Rajinikanth was also present. The team was very impressed by Falk and offered him the role. Eduardo was to pack up and fly back to Mumbai," said the source.
But, post the audition, Rajinikanth said he wanted to spend some time with the two to know them better.
"After that, he asked the director to offer Eduardo a role as well. They not only included him in the film, but also extended the role. He was earlier supposed to shoot for only 10 days, but now will shoot for two months. He will now be required to stay back in the country to shoot through July and August."
A source close to the production house confirmed the news, saying that both the actors are part of the film now. Director K. S. Ravikumar, however, remained unavailable for comment.
