Security forces on Tuesday demolished a Maoists' training camp and destroyed their explosives following an encounter, in Pesraha forest in Bihar's Munger district.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of the Special Task Force (STF) of Bihar police and CRPF raided the forest and pulled down the training camp of the Maoists, ADG (headquarters), Neelmani, said.
A truck-load of explosives, including detonators, gelatine fuse wires, kept in bunkers were destroyed, he said.
The securitymen were locked in an encounter with the naxalites for about half-an-hour, but the ultras managed to escape into the forests.
