The 21 Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court trying the Satyam scam case in Hyderabad on Thursday posted the case to August 3 for further hearing.
The court adjourned the case keeping in view of the stay order issued by the Metropolitan Sessions Judge (MSJ) on Wednesday on a
criminal revision petition filed by Ch Srisailam, one of the accused in the Satyam case.
Earlier, in the 21 Additional CJM, Srisailam objected to the examination ahead of arguments on the charge sheet. He contended that it was not only prejudicial to his legitimate rights but might also cause an irreparable damage to his defence.
The court, however, rejected his plea prompting him to challenge the same in the MSJ court which is likely to hold further hearing on the stay order tomorrow.
