The National Commission for Women (NCW) today gave clean chit to the Air India pilot in the alleged molestation case of airhostess Komal Singh. "There is no sexual harassment by the commander to Komal Singh," NCW member Wansuk Syiem, who was a part of the probe committee,
said.

"It is just a misbehaviour from both sides. I must say some arguments were there, which caused this physical push by the commander to her," she said.

Singh had flied an FIR against the pilots that she was allegedly molested by them in the cockpit and had also approached the NCW.

An Air India probe panel has already given a clean chit to the two pilots who were charged with sexual harassment by the airhostess in the wake of a mid-air scuffle between them during a flight from Sharjah.

A senior Air India official had said the five-member enquiry committee, which went into her complaint about the incident on board a Sharjah-Lucknow-Delhi flight IC-884 on October 3, has concluded that whatever complaints airhostess Komal Singh has made regarding sexual harassment "is an after-thought".
