The Gujjar community on Wednesday hailed the Rajasthan budget 2010-11 in which special welfare package has been provided to OBCs.
A delegation of the community led by state Energy Minister Jitendra Singh today called upon Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and thanked him for making the special
provision of Rs 25 crore in the budget for the welfare and uplift of the other backward classes (OBCs).
Talking to the delegation, Gehlot said his government has made all efforts during the last one-and-a-half years to strengthen the brotherhood and amity between the Gujjar and Meena communities in the state.
