An employee of National Hydroelectric Power Project (NHPC) was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kishtwar district, police said in Jammu on Wednesday.
Janak Raj of Samba district, working as senior supervisor in NHPC complex at Shalamar in Kishtwar district, was found dead
under mysterious circumstances at his official residence on Tuesday, they said.
Before handing over the body to relatives for performing last rites, necessary legal formalities were conducted by the police.
Police also registered a case under section 174 Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) and initiated inquest proceedings, they said.
