Rajdeep Sardesai in A homing instinct (Beyond the Byte, October 30) has rightly used his journalistic abilities to throw light on ways to deal with Naxalism. Both the government and Naxalites should understand that putting the lives of millions of innocents at risk is unacceptable. Also, where were the human rights activists hiding for the past six decades when various governments ignored their people and forced them to take up arms?
