How about enjoying a day of golf at the Dorres Pines range in San Diego? It is not only possible, it is just a drive away in Gurgaon’s Ambience Mall. With six hi-tech simulators, Golfworx, a 44,000-square feet exclusive golf lounge, offers just that. What’s more, it doesn’t matter if
it’s foggy or raining, for you are warm and cosy indoors.

“This is the first-ever indoors golf club in the country,” says Rahul Singh, MD, Golfworx. The ‘club’, as Singh puts it, has 16 world-class ‘courses’ — including the famous Pebble Beach, California, where the 2010 US Open will be held — to choose from.

For practising, there are nine driving ranges. There’s also an academy where beginners can pick up the game while a camera records their movements. “We recommend a 12-class session before moving on to play,” says in-house instructor Prithviraj.

Hi-tech equipment apart, the $2-million club also packs in luxury. “There is a Baronial Lounge where members have exclusive boxes to sip malt while having a Havana cigar,” informs Singh, adding that non-members can also walk in and play a game for Rs 500 between 8 am and midnight.
