The Christmas season is about to begin and so are the grand celebrations, parties and fetes. Delhiites will soon be able to avail the goodies at the Christmas markets organised by embassies and NGOs. Here is a lowdown on some of the fetes that will be opening gates this
weekend.
German Christmas MarketOrganised by the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, this fete will
comprise more than 50 stalls displaying Christmas gift items, home accessories,
decorations and furniture. The guests can enjoy German beer and wine apart from sausages, cakes and confectionery. Also part of the festivities will be a
painting competition for children. And the evening will see performance by Christmas choirs.

Oz Haat
Oz Haat is an exhibition and sale of the works of Indian community organisations supported by the Australian High Commission. Part of the celebrations will be a special Christmas corner with stalls selling papercraft, soft
furnishings, clothing and gift items. There will also be stalls selling Christmas cakes and decorations.

Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association marketThis one’s a one-of-its-kind international bazaar where goods from various countries will be sold and food is cooked and served by the diplomats themselves (along with their staff). The bazaar has 120 local entrepreneurs participating and selling products such as jewellery, clothes, bags, and footwear.
