A group of youngsters, suspected to be Shiv Sena activists, allegedly ransacked the Bhojpuri actor-cum-singer Manoj Tiwari’s Versova office on Monday. Around 9.30 pm about 20-25 youngsters went to Tiwari’s office and told a staffer that the wanted to see Tiwari. A
representative from Tiwari’s office, Shashikant Singh, said he suspected they were Sena workers.

When told that Tiwari was not in office, they started shouting slogans and pelting stones, breaking window panes and the front portion of the office.

“They said Tiwari should not enter politics if he wanted to stay in Mumbai,” said Singh.

Two years ago, local activists of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena attacked the actor for making comments against their party leader Raj Thackeray.
