The Centre has approached the Bombay High Court against a special court summoning National Security Guards (NSG) commandos to depose against Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone terrorist taken alive during the 26/11 strikes. Additional Solicitor General Darius Khambatta submitted the petition on
Tuesday.  A division bench of Justices J.N. Patel and Amjad Sayed will hear the petition on Wednesday.

“We’ve raised the issue of the trial court summoning NSG commandos for deposition,” said Khambatta, refusing to elaborate. Special Judge M.L. Tahiliyani had summoned three NSG men who stormed the Taj and Oberoi hotels and Nariman House during the terror strikes.
