An investment banker who employs hearing impaired courier boys; a globe-trotting economics student who is reforming girls’ education in Rajasthan. These are some of the success stories of social entrepreneurs, who will speak at the first Indian Philanthropy Forum on Wednesday and Thursday in the
city.
Organised by Dasra, a city-based venture philanthropy NGO, the forum aims to build a community of philanthropists committed to providing solutions to India’s poverty.
At the launch, 120 potential philanthropists will be shown how their money can be put to good use.
