An 8x10 foot of road caved-in this morning near old passport office in Worli in central Mumbai, civic officials said.
According to civic officials, the road's 8x10 foot portion caved in at 9.30 am near old passport office in Worli. A mini bus got trapped in the caved-in pit and was
removed with the help of traffic department's towing vehicle.
The repair work is on, the officials said.
"The restoration work is on and it will take two days to repair the road. We intend to lay concrete-cement road after monsoon, that would cost Rs 15 Lakh," Additional Municipal Commissioner Aseem Gupta said.
