India and Nepal reiterated their commitment not to allow their territories for cross-border terrorism.

However, no decision was taken on the pending extradition treaty and the treats posed by Maoists.

“We agreed on a coordinated effort to prevent cross-border terrorism,” said Home Secretary G.K. Pillai while addressing a joint press conference with his Nepali counterpart, Govind Prasad Kusum, in Kathmandu on Saturday.
