The ongoing India International Trade Fair in New Delhi offers avenues for cooperation with India, President Pratibha Patil on Friday told the envoys of five countries who presented their credentials to her.
"The fair would give a good idea to the envoys for cooperation in various areas with India," Patil said as five envoys presented their credentials at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The envoys were Ambassador of Russia Alexander M Kadakin, Ambassador of Mexico Jaime Virgillo Nualart Sanchez, High Commissioner of Mozambique Jose Maria da Silva Vieira de Morais, Ambassador of Armenia Ara Hakobyan, and High Commissioner of Ghana Robert Tachle-Menson.
The President also mentioned that the global agenda is full of complex issues such as terrorism, climate change, energy security and eradication of poverty, hunger and disease, a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesperson said.
She said that there is a necessity for developing an equitable world where all can live with dignity, which requires clear vision, determined action and the nations to work together, the spokesperson added.
