A property dealer and two of his associates received injuries after they were allegedly waylaid and shot at by six assailants in outer Delhi's Alipur area, the police said. The police said the incident was reported from the Seed Farm road in Alipur at 1 a.m. when Ravinder Mann, a local
property dealer, and his friends Sandeep Mann and Praveen were waylaid by six assailants.

"The assailants stopped the trio and started arguing with Ravinder. When Sandeep and Praveen attempted to intervene, the assailants shot at them," the officer said.

The police said the accused  then fled the spot. "They were rushed to the Saroj hospital at Madhuban Chowk by the residents. While Praveen was discharged after treatment, Ravinder and Sandeep are still admitted and are recuperating," the officer said.

The police said the accused are also residents of Ravinder's village and a property dispute seemed to be the reason behind the incident.
