"Thank God, we don't have a Bal Thackeray here," said Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today while calling Delhi a unique city where people from across the country can live comfortably without any distinction. "We have varied culture and really true cosmopolitan people. People from Kerala to Jammu and
Kashmir to those from the north-east can live here comfortably. There is no distinction."

"Everyone knows whats happening in Mumbai (anti-north Indian campaign). It certainly does not happen here. Thank God, we don't have a Bal Thackeray here," she said about the anti-North Indians campaign by the Shiv Sena and MNS.

Dikshit was speaking at an interactive session at a Summit organised by CII and the Wall Street Journal.

The Chief Minister also spoke about the uniqueness of Delhi, where everything, including its weather, is imported and the number of heritage structures it has.
