dying to meet and party with him.”
Chosen from among thousands of kids across India, the Delhi girl will interview cricket stars on TV channel
MAX, every time the Delhi IPL team plays at home. “Now we kids will speak and the elders will listen,” says the class-VII student of The Banyan Tree School.
“My mom used to scold me for playing cricket, but now I’ll be in the stadium,” says Sachdeva, a cricket lover since she was a toddler.
Her mother, Seema, isn’t scolding her anymore, though. “We just want her to do whatever she likes,” says Seema. Sister Sonal, however, wants it to be special. Keeping the ‘who’s better between Yuvi and Gauti’ fight aside, Sonal, a fashion designing-student, is busy creating an outfit for her sister. “I want to design something that will go well with the colour our Delhi team sports,” she says.
But Tanya “doesn’t want to think about clothes”. “I just want to be myself and talk there,” she says. No wonder she’s called a “tota” (parrot) at home.
