The family members of Rahul alleged that he was given an injection by a doctor in the rural health centre and after that he started felling uneasy and within an hour he died in the health centre.

The Block Medical Officer of Health (BMOH) Krishnaganj, Chadrima Goswami claimed that the boy was taken to the health centre in an unconscious condition with high fever and his body was cold.

Doctor P K Roy of the health centre gave Rahul the Decadron injection and referred him to Shaktinagar hospital but he died within an hour in the emergency bed of the rural health centre, the BMOH claimed.
