Tablets give a great advantage over portable gaming devices since they allow you to do much more than just play games. On the other hand, game consoles add better portability and battery life, and also let you swap games with other people, building children’s social skills.
Tablet games are much cheaper, with an excess of choices from plain simple word games to highly complex role playing games. With no physical CD or DVD to be bought, it is easy to buy/download games no matter where you are, unlike buying games for a portable gaming console.
