Want to see your truest self, from an artist's eye? Then, you wouldn't want to miss France's Cécile Dormeau’s tongue-in-cheek GIFs and illustrations. And her bodacious babes that tell it like it is: Be it exploring body image issues women face or the importance of taking selfies, these illustrations nail being a woman in 2015.
You will absolutely love the simplicity and frankness about these works. From a tummy-suck selfie to uncontrollable hairiness (sample below), Cécile taps into the woes many of us, whatever the gender, have had at some point.
"I'm always ecstatic my followers recognise themselves in my drawings," Dormeau, who lives in Germany, told Cosmopolitan.com. "It's super gratifying."
We love how Dormeau tries to diversify the body types in each drawing, because it is so important for people to see reflections of themselves in these portrayals. Let's just say the theme of her cheeky and playful work is, "Being different and having flaws is f***ing normal!"
So, if fun drawings and GIFs that points out everyday issues and woes faced by women- which include concerns like hairy legs, and looking good in selfies- interest you, we have just the thing for you. (To follow her on Tumblr and Instagram, click here.)
