Life is fun when you have a vibrant group of friends. Especially, during your school and college years. Your friends define who you are and how you live your life, for better or for worse. Sometimes, they are the only thing that keeps you sane; at other times they bring out the crazies in you, like it's no ones's business. And of course, the best of friends talk about everything from their sex lives to poop.
Of course, we all need that one friend who is there for you at the drop of a dime, and the one who tells you as it is you when you're wrong, and inspires and supports you.
While, many of us boast of a big friend circle, each and every friend circle remains incomplete without these gems:
This friend of yours' is a big fan of science and tends to be on the awkward side in social situations. But she/he is always there to help you out when it comes to irrelevant things like, 'Where's the world’s largest comic book collection?' (P.S: It's in the Library of Congress, Washington, US. They currently hold over 100,000 individual issues). She/he is a technology-science-general-knowledge-history-literature expert rolled into one. Also, she/he also fulfills your intellectual needs: When you are in a philosophical mood and want to discuss the origin of life, this friend would be your stimulant. Keep a strong hold on this type because they always have a golden heart to go with that amazing mind!
Think Alia Bhatt: She fits into this role perfectly (pun intended). After all, times have changed and nerds don't mean only greasy-haired dorks, who know how to work a computer.
From cheesy lines to lame Ranveer Shorey-type jokes, this friend makes everything sound funny. Like, literally! She/he is the perfect recipe for a fun day! Also if your best friend is like this then, 'Oh my god, we're so jealous!'
Think Sofia Vergara: With those crazy infectious laughs of hers and her milieu of jokes, she would be anyone's ideal funny friend. You know it!
The support system
This friend is the most important friend ever. She/he would always be there for you, 3pm or 3am. They're your support system and would always help you push through the thick and thin: From break-ups, bad hair days, sibling trouble to vital advice on what clothes to wear, and how to get through 'post traumatic exam disorder' and what not. They'll always be there for you. So put a solid lock on this loving relationship.
Think Kareena Kapoor Khan: This was an easy one, because she seems great at making friends for life.
This one friend is crazy about clicking selfies anywhere and everywhere. For most of us on social media platforms this is extremely annoying, since our news feeds are full of her/his selfies. But the plus point to this is that you can use this habit to your advantage. From pictures eating food to pictures of you just chilling, with her/his amazing clicking and editing skills, you're guaranteed a great DP. Now, we all need those don't we?
Think Priyanka Chopra: She would be the ideal self-ie made friend. Her Instagram and Twitter pages are proof.
This friend is the funnest of them all. She/he would keep you updated on all the relevant pieces of information that you need to know (who's cheating on who, and the likes). This friend would also keep you updated on the latest social events. With her/him you would always have hilarious conversations that leave you with immense worldly knowledge (OMG! she didn't!).
Think Karan Johar: Obvs. Ain't no doubt.
There are many types of friends that you should and you do have. These are just a few them, but they definitely rank on top. Also, let us know if you feel there are many more types of must-have friends aside from these fab ones we already have. Go ahead: Use the comments sections, please!
