Think your relationship too is slipping into the familiar drudgery you've heard your best friend complain about her love life for long? Miss that sparkle, that unmistakable zing, in your partner's eyes just a year into your affair? It's not even that you guys are not giving enough time for each other. But think about it: could it be that the two of you are giving yourself more time than necessary? Both of you have become so familiar with each other that it occurred to none of you that keeping your relationship fresh is as important as anything else. We tell you how to bring that zing back in your relationship.

The best way to keep a long-term relationship interesting is by adding that element of new to your life. Try to discover and do new things together. It could be anything -- taking a cooking class together or going dance classes. After all, what you want is to be with each other, but it's always better to have something in common that you can discuss. Remember, always exchanging sweet nothings will become boring after a point. You need to bring in some variety in what you discuss.

Yes…you've got us right! We're talking about bringing a child into the world. There's nothing that will bond a couple quite like having someone to care for together, someone who's more important than each other. A baby brings couples closer because it gives them something common to care for other than just each other.

Do some planning and make a reservation someplace affordable, but romantic. Open the door for her, order some wine and dessert and hold her hand. Make it weekly or bi-monthly thing, depending on your budget and schedules. It might seem like a lot of work, but it'll make your relationship stronger and healthier in long run.

Surprise her by appearing suddenly in front of her, by popping into her work once in a while and taking her out for lunch or just stop by to say hello. It's a reminder to him/her that you were thinking of her/him.

Giving a gift to someone not only lets them know you love them, but also that you've been thinking of them when they weren't around. It doesn't have to be something pricey; it just has to be something from the heart that your partner would really enjoy. Even if they tell you it's not necessary and not to buy it. It'll make them feel special and it will prove to be healthy for the future of your relationship.

If you guys end up going to the same restaurants all the time, you'll inevitably be spending a lot of time retreading the same ground. By going to a new city, a new beach or a new hotel, you will be opening up a range of new conversations and it's a great way to keep a long term relationship interesting.

You used to send each other romantic texts in the initial days! But with time that cute romance has got vanished somewhere! You need that back right now. OK, it may not be 10 times a day like back then but you can text them randomly, suddenly and romantically on some random ordinary day??
