FB's new Scrapbook lets you keep your baby photos in a single place

Congratulations -- you've just had a baby and now you want to show off your little munchkin on Facebook. There's only one problem -- your baby isn't on Facebook, and can't be till he or she is at least 13 years old, according to Facebook's terms and conditions.

Congratulations -- you've just had a baby and now you want to show off your little munchkin on Facebook. There's only one problem -- your baby isn't on Facebook, and can't be till he or she is at least 13 years old, according to Facebook's terms and conditions.

Most parents work around this by tagging their significant other in any photos featuring their child, but that's a roundabout way of doing it. Facebook is now in the process of rolling out Facebook Scrapbook to make this easier.

Parents can choose a tag for their baby (a real name or anything else they want) and use it to have all their pictures in one handy location that can be easily shared with friends. A Scrapbook can also be a private album if the parents choose to make it so.

Scrapbook is currently available in the US only, so if you're there, head into Facebook's Family and Relationships section in Settings. Only you or your partner can add photos to the Scrapbook or change privacy settings. Once it's set up, Scrapbook appears as its own photo album within your photos.
