Kodak to give free photo printing for Facebook likes

Photo imaging brand Kodak is giving out free photo printing vouchers to people who “like” its brand page on Facebook.

The company is partnering with popular photo blog My Parents Were Awesome to launch its Free Prints Week campaign in the US. The promotion will run from October 17 through October 23.

After liking Kodak on Facebook, fans can download a voucher which entitles them to print up to 20 4x6” instant photos at selected photo kiosks in the US.

"There are billions of photos stored on FACEBOOK and there is a strong desire to convert these photos into personalized memories. Through our Free Prints Week, we are providing customers an easy and convenient solution to free their FACEBOOK photos at no cost by visiting one of our exceptional retail partners,” said Larry Trevarthen, vice president of worldwide marketing, Retail Systems Solutions, Eastman Kodak Company.

Of course “free” printing comes with a catch -- Kodak wants people to opt in to receive emails from the brand in the future.
