Congress on Friday fielded former Rajya Sabha MP Isham Singh to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Nagina parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
Singh was earlier in the Bahujan Samaj Party.
Congress is fighting the elections alone in the key state which sends 80 members
to the Lok Sabha after talks for a tie-up with SP failed.
