Former Prime Minister and JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda will contest from Karnataka's Hassan, his home turf, in the coming Lok Sabha election.
Gowda's son and former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy would be fielded from Bangalore Rural, according to the first list of candidates announced by JD(S).
The JD(S) chief had played a key role in cobbling up of the Third Front, which was launched this month.
